Gonna use this blog to share some photos from my wedding and trips to South Africa. Eventually it’ll be the home page for my website.
For now, here’s our puppy Luca that we got back in March.

Video of the dogs rescued and rehabilitated after Michael Vick’s arrest is avaiable on the site of the rescue organization, Bad Rap.
We see so many rescued pits out here, it’s heart-breaking. People who’ve adopted from a shelter tell me it’s almost hard to find pups that aren’t a pit or pit mix.

I apologize for all the dog pictures lately, but they’re really the best way to get some practice with the new camera shooting under rapidly changing conditions. This one reminds me of anime.

Will resume normal posting this week. We picked up these two guys a couple weeks ago, on the same weekend that we moved to a great house in Oakland. That’s Lebowski on the left and Hazel on the right. It’s been a little overwhelming, but fun.
Upcoming themes: More Puppy Shots, Election Night, and an Ode to Dolores Park.
Whoa — at last the blog is back. I took off September entirely from all photography-related-programs activities. Now just hoping to get back in the groove of blogging every day.
Let me know what you think about the new site, spread the links, and check out all the talented friends and photogs I’ve listed in my blogroll.

Oh, yeah, and my friend Kriston, too. Capps and Wreck, both college buddies and roommates for a brief stint, somehow landed in the Sunday Style section. Kriston, who runs Grammar.police, and his bloggin’ roommates were profiled in a story called ‘Washington Doesn’t Sleep Here.’ It’s all a little surreal. Click here to see the Times’ shot of the Wreckster.
