Dave Mann has a perfectly wry post today on the Texas Observer Blog about the Clinton campaign’s ‘endorsement’ from beyond the grave.

At the end he links to a typically fiery column from the late Molly Ivins in which she vows never to support Hillary: ‘I’d like to make it clear to the people who run the Democratic Party that I will not support Hillary Clinton for president.

‘Enough. Enough triangulation, calculation, and equivocation. Enough clever straddling, enough not offending anyone. This is not a Dick Morris election.’

The whole thing is great. It reminds me of how much I regret never getting to meet Molly (I joined the Observer staff just days after she died) and also why I gravitated toward Obama.
